Hemoptysis & Hormones

Has anyone noticed a connection between hemoptysis and hormones? I've noticed that every time I go off of birth control I hemoptysize. Any thoughts?

Yes you will notice that most women on here that are proned to hemoptytsis say that its worse before, during, or after their period. Most doctors dont believe it but the ones who have the prob no best right? lol
I myself have had hemoptysis for about oh gosh mmmm about 12 yrs and it has always been around my period. I went on birth control to see if it would help and it did. It help by lessening the frequency but not severity.
I am not on bc right now and just had my 12th embolization. So coincedence I think not.
I am very passionate about this because it took me years to convince my cf drs that its true. They now listen and believe. The more us females tell our drs this the better. Until they are on board with us there wont be any studies or remedies.
