I am also going to ask if there is a such thing as progestin only pills.
That would be ideal and not have the risk of too much estrogen.

also look at seasonelle.com or lybrel.com - no periods at all
BUT! you do not need a special brand of oral contraceptive to get 4 periods or no periods a year It is called "continuous cycling" using combined oral contraceptives and skipping the no hormone or "break" week.
Khristina - there are progestin only pills - they work primarily by thickening the cervical mucus - it is a great pill for women who cannot take estrogen BUT because it is only one hormone it is ever so important that you take the pill at the same time every day and if you are late or miss a pill use another method (condom, sponge, diaphragm)until you have taken 7 hormone pills without problems.
Have you considered Intrauterine Contraception? Mirena or Paragard are the IUDs that are currently available.
