Wednesday's update, again parts of it. I took names out and didn't post everything, just the part that tells you how Chris is doing.

SO Chris was pretty drowsy today. They did a CT scan then ended up doing an angiogram.

Turns out the blood flow to the new lungs isn't as good as the transplant docs would like....so that's a bit of a bummer since she'll have to go back into surgery tomorrow morning at 7:30am so they can redo the anastimoses and get better blood flow.

Sounds like the doc said it would be okay if she was sedentary but since Chris is an energizer bunny and likes to run and exercise and bounce off the walls the current situation would be sub-optimal. So that's okay...talk about good service, in any case. The doctor is amazing. 11 hours of surgery for the transplant and he's happy to go back in there and make sure everything is perfect. So she may have to get re-intubated and re-chest tubed and re-NG tubed and everything but hey, at least she'll get to go back to sleep. So this might set us back a couple days or weeks but if we toughed it out since May we can tough it out a little longer.
