I'm so proud of Mark, and I know many of you don't know him-just through me and what I've shared about him. But he has made a few posts here and there on this forum. And as a proud wife, I just couldn't resist in sharing.

He will be graduating from Washington State University this Saturday and I am so proud of him. I think it's always amazing and special when a CFer graduates college, has kids, gets a promotion... and I am so darn proud of him. He's done it all while getting married, having me join the Navy, moving to San Diego, moving back to Washington, this pregnancy (especially what started out as a fiasco) and a number of other minor but affecting things.

I'm also so proud of him because he's the first person in 2 generations to graduate college, on his mom and dad's side of the family!! His grandfather on his moms side was the last person to graduate. Mark's dad didn't even go to high school. And his brother dropped out of high school so he's really beat the odds for his family history. School was never really pushed in his family, save for his grandfather.

So, just wanted to share how proud I am of him!!!

Jen, aren't you graduating soon too? When's that date?

Well done to Mark! Congratulations to both of you. Hope you have a great big romantic celebration together while you still have the time ( before the nappies start piling up!)

Ruby, Mark would love your idea- Romantic, Poor guy, he wishes. I don't feel very sexy right now, can't even see my toes and I'm only 14 weeks along...

We're going to do a dinner (just us) on Sunday night because right after the graduation we drive back home (it's a 7 hour drive from seattle to Pullman) but that's about as romantic as it's gong to get .

Thanks everyone, He'll like to see this. He's really shy, probably be mad I posted it but oh well, that's what wives/girlfriends do right?

Julie,

Give Mark my congrats, graduating college takes one thing, determination and that is one thing CF gives us. I am sure you have mentioned but what is his degree in?

Business administration/Business Operations with a minor in international Business.

He wants to get his masters, but not sure how that will work with three little ones on the way . I told him to give it a go though!
