hey hey hey

well i'm in tanzania now. it's awesome. air was a little harder to breathe at first but i've upped my albuterol and adjusted nicely.

i've gotten about a billion mosquito bites...can't be good.

if i were ever able to sign in, i'd sign up for a blog and write this there but alas, cf.com hates me.

tomorrow i start work at a kindergarten that is situated in two rooms in a man's home. there are over 70 children and only two teachers (including me!)

so it should be interesting, i will be there for four weeks...and then i am going to hopefully work at an orphange.

this place is amazing...i thought i would be home sick but i am so glad that i am here all summer.

i hope you all are well, and if you aren't you start feeling better damnit!

Whoa, Maggie!
So, you can check out this site while you are in Tanzania...which means they have internet access there!! Not so third-worldish, is it?
Anyway, hopefully, I didn't expose any anonymity when I posted on your blog, but I just had to tell you I discovered your name, and the article about you in the MPDCI "Beaver Bulletin"!!
This is my third post about the subject to you, I did the first post in the "Africa" subject, here.

So, noticing this post is not too old, you may see this message soon?
I didn't know you were from Michigan. Half the people on the board of directors to MPDCI I knew from when I went to CF camp, years back. I'm curious how you knew about the MPDCI and "Beaver Bulletin"? Just seems like a good subject to discuss.

Anyway, glad the place is not making you homesick. I hope when the culture shock closes in, it's not too bad, either.
I'm doing good, considering. I hope your health, and hydration holds up there.
Later!
(P.S. can you come back with coffee beans? <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0"> )
