Hi everyone-my name is Marci and I have been lurking for a few weeks. I am 31 (32 next month!) and have CF. I wasn't diagnosed until I was 20 years old. I have recently started the vest and pulmozyme (thanks to Alyssa on here!)....and will start hypertonic saline in June.
My case is fairly mild, I am on meds (usually Keflex) about 4-6 times a year for staff infections, I have cultured PA twice, both times when I was pregnant. I have 2 children, a 4 year old and a 2 year old. My pregnancies with both were so different. With the first, I had to be put on a PICC line the last 2 months of my pregnancy to gain weight (normally not a problem for me). My second was a pretty routine pregnancy.
We live in Eastern Washington State in a beautiful area- we really love it. We just moved here last year and are finding that it will be a great place to raise kids grow old <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
I have enjoyed reading everything on this site and have already gotten alot of information from all of you about meds, etc.
Anyways, just wanted to introduce myself and say hi!
