Hillrom vs Respirtech

Greg White is so nice. I've been working w/ him regarding my InCourage vest. It started doing this weird thing where it wouldn't vibrate, it would just choke me like a boa constrictor. Sakasuka, has this happened to you with yours? He said he never heard of this before, but he would send me a new machine and I can send him the other one. At any rate, they all seem very friendly there.

never happened to me with my Respirtech. great that they'll help you with yours.

HillRom, before they were HillRom (i forget what they were called), in the late 1990's and early 2000-2001, was a great company. in fact, my Vest broke in Switzerland and the old Vest company overnighted me a new Vest 103. for free. it was amazing as I was living in switzerland at the time and would have been SOL without my Vest..... (this is when i first discovered the tragedies of socialized medicine... i was shocked to learn that the Vest didn't exist on the European continent!!!!!!!)

they would never do that now that that company was bought out by hillrom. i bet respirtech would though.

I have never had a problem with Hill Rom, but given the fact that you were traveling to Japan which few CFers would do, I am very glad they were helpful.

BTW did you only speak with ONE rep from Hill Rom? I realize they should all be knowledgable & helpful, but as we know....that isnt realistic at times. Just curious......
