I am taking a liberal arts class apart from Nursing, I had to take it because of scholarships related to amount of credits per semester.. Anyway.. For this assignment I have to "name the activity" I have emailed my teacher several times and called her once. IT is an online course.. but she seems pissy with me. saying she has been teaching this for 10 years and no one has every questioned this..

Here is the two paragraphs she gave me. I Have to name the activity.. I have no concept what activity she is talking about, not is anything even remotely related to this in the book..

What do you think it is.. Of course my friends in nursing school are like me.. we have lost our abilitiy to think abstractly

1. First, you arrange things into different groups, depending on their color and texture. If there is not much to do, one pile should be sufficient. If you lack the necessary equipment, you must go somewhere else. It is better to do a few things than too many. Complications can arise if all direction are not followed, and a mistake can be expensive. At first, the whole procedure may seem difficult, but soon it will become just another fact of life. You can get caught up, never ahead, on this task.

2. A seashore is a better place than the street. At the start, it is better to run than walk. You may have to try several times. It takes some skill, but it is easy to learn. Even young children can enjoy it. Once successful, complications are minimal. Birds seldom get too close. Too many people doing the same thing can cause problems, as one needs lots of room. If there are no strong conditions or mishaps, it can be very peaceful. A rock can serve as an anchor, but if things break loose from it, you will not get a second chance.

Thanks for any help

Holy MOly you guys kick butt,.. I am embarrased to say, that I have been working on this for over a week.... I kept trying to think of technical things it could be. Specific formulas and programs.....and I couldn't get past anything concrete.. How do you guys think that way?

Yea, Jen, I was thinking the same thing!! too deep of thoughts to see the obvious, must be from too much stress!
Think you've got something here, any time you're in a pinch with homework, bring it on here, and you'll more than likely get some serious help with it (no need to call that wacky teacher!!)

It isn't a nursing class EM. I am taking it, it is a class on learning, the only reason I am taking it is for my scholarship I have to be full time and I needed one more credit. HA...

I never in a million years would have gotten it. The class thankfully has nothing to do with Nursing though when I called the teacher she told me to use my critcal thinking skills as a nurse... and I think she was more annoyed that I called her and emailed her not understanding...IT is so simple once you know the answer...

I miss talking to you EM.. Hope school is going good.
