Hoping for a miracle

How do the parents or loved ones deal with the agony of watching their child or loved one on a vent. Hoping for a miracle that a donor comes in time. Knowing the clock is ticking away.

Very best of wishes to you and your family. It breaks my heart to see my child go through the issues he's had. I just seem to deal with each one as it comes. I've not had anything as horrible as seeing him on a vent and waiting for donor organs. Praying for you all!

I was on a vent for over three weeks when my miracle finally came. 2 1/2 years later I am still fighting. In my experience all my family could do is trust in the doctors and the medicine and lean on one another for support. Which hospital are you at? How long as your child been on life support?
