Griffin is still only 22 mos. I watch a couple of kids. In this past summer I watched three different kids, all at different times though.

For the winter I'll start watching a four mo. old baby boy. His mom is fully aware of our cf regimen.

Besides that I am a jewelry designer. That's my old profession. I stopped after Griffin was born, part burn-out, part necessity. Toddlers love to get into jewelry supplies.

I intend to be a career student though. I'm looking forward to getting a few phd's if possible while I stay close to Griffin and can take care of him and do treatments. <img src="">

...a few phd's is kinda a joke, but you never know!

I am an RN, so luckily I can work day or night. I usually work Evenings for just a few hours. I am "per-diem" so my schedule is VERY flexible. Many years ago, I was a nurse's aid(before i got my degree). Again those hours would be very flexible and some hospitals will train you. The pay can be good and hospitals sometimes offer great benefits.

I also quit working when Jaelyn was diagnosed. For a whole year I did not work a "real job". I sold Mary Kay (and still do) and went to a staffing agency and told them I needed assignments that were short and described why. Also, went back to my old job bartending on the weekends. With the Mary Kay and bartending I got the bills paid so I slacked off on the temp work. After that year, I went back to my career in real estate/mortgages and kept bartending on the weekends to pay off some credit cards. I just told them up front I had a child with a serious medical need and if I had to go I am going. But I would work late or come in early to make up my time and get the work done I needed to.
