i am just wondering b/c when i was done i was absolutely exhausted! i didn't sleep much the whole two weeks, i was eating less and basically doing nothing physical so i had no energy. i have been off IVs for 5 days now and i am still feeling sluggish and not quite ready to get back into my old exercising routine.

thoughts?

I'm kind of the same way. In July, I came off three weeks of home IV's. I was sleeping much better, but I had no energy. It took me two weeks to recover. I even coughed a little more at first and started to get scared because they were just stopped. Everything cleared up, though.

It takes me quie awhile to bounce back. The affects of the meds alone takes a while to wear off. I wish I could speed it along for you!

I usually fell pretty good when I am off IVs. I typically keep up my activity while I am on IVs when I am at home though. I still go about my daily business as usual and so on. So when I get off IVs I am pretty okay in that respect, but I normally take a few days to take it easy when I am just getting off IVs. I don't do anything more than I was doing while on IVs, after about a week I am feeling pretty good and becoming even more active.

I hope you start feeling better and that you start getting your energy back.

Take Care,
Lindsey
