I've been mostly PS, but not totally, and I take one Viokase 18 with oily meals, and it helps alot. If I avoid greasy meals, I don't usually have an issue .

I also took myself off enzymes when I was a teen, and quit getting the gas, constipation and stomach pains that I had before. All I can figure is that 1) Cotazyme was not the best one for me (and neither was most of the others I have tried), and 2) I was probably on too many, but we never knew the symptoms.

Now, one enzyme at Outback Steakhouse (lol) and I'm good . Last year was also the first year (after 20 years) that not regularly taking (I admit, mostly not taking them at all) my vitamins made my bloodwork come back low. I think my bout of pancreatitis had something to do with that. And I am more than plenty plump .

I hope you get it sorted out quickly .

you know, i'm not to sure. i just stopped taking them and my doctors never told me other wise. i've never had any issues until now, never a weight problem, my stomach never hurt and i never had the oil problem thats why i figured i didn't need to be on them.
