When i'm out with my friends they go to the bar and get me a drink to let me recover before i can chat, specially if its cold outside. I often can't finish a sentence through coughing luckily they all find it funny!!

I never thought I sounded short of breath until I've been taping my son on video camera. That's when I really noticed that I sounded winded sometimes. I'm usually walking around, but still.

I've also had people comment when I answer the phone that I sound out of breath, and I usually say I had to rush to get the phone (which was probably the case).

I definitely notice this more when I'm not feeling well.

The SOB has definitely gotten worse the older I get. I notice it talking on the phone within the last year more and more. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"> I also think it is worse when I am really serious or excited, like CowTown said, because of my asthma.
