How far do you travel to get to your clinic?

I drive 3-1/2 hrs to my clinic, which is in another state. I always thought I was an oddity driving so far, but I guess I'm not!

I also drive 3 hours away. Thankfully, our insurance pays for gas, food, and if need be, hotel. That's a huge help!

1 hr 15 mins on a good day. 3 hrs on a bad day. Beth Israel, NYC baby

Wanted to add- I went to JH years ago for a consultation. I was so impressed. Wonderful hospital and facilities. And obviously, cutting edge.

I take the Long Island RR to Penn Station in Manhattan , that takes about 1 hr. Then a cab which is about another 30 min., to Beth Israel .. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> joni

3 hours to UCSF in San Fran. There are several clinics I could go to in the bay area and LA area but they are all 3 hours away.

about 1/2 an hour to the one in Tucson, since I live in the outskirts of town and the clinic is on the east side. I want to check out the one in Phoenix because of course, Phoenix has bigger, better of everything. That'd be an easy 2 hour drive.

I drive an hour to my clinic.
I wanted to switch to Johns hopkins (I was willing to drive the extra distance to get to them), but they wouldn't accept me.
I was told that there were several clinics in my area that were closer and that I should go there. I wasn't happy about it!
