Thanks you all for your responses. I do intend to ask my doctor, that was my first intention.

<br />I did want to have a general idea before I speak to her though.
Through the yrs that I've been a member of this site I've heard a few moms mention that they concieved shortly after being off IVs. They seemed to believe maybe there was tie like maybe being healthier from the IVs or the IVs indirectly had thinned their cervical mucus. Also, one should note that often people gain weight while on IVs (bc they are healthier) and therefore may be more able to conceive. As christian made note to stability of FEV1 so should your weight bc it will only be harder to gain weight while pregnant than before.

It's interesting you say that because my doc had mentioned that as one of the reasons for doing a tune-up at this time. We've been ttc on and off for nearly a year and believe we had a chemical pregnancy a couple months ago. Definitely think thicker mucus is my problem. Also have a mild case of hypothyroidism that is still being regulated. I know I ovulate (sometimes very strongly!) and tend to keep steady weight and PFTs.
It's good to know that others successfully conceived following IVs.
