How long does it take to neb Tobi?

Plenty of people want the eFlow - I'd venture to guess that most of us that don't already have one are in that predicament because our docs feel it is unsafe to neb tobra through the eFlow.

I use the devilbiss pulmo aide and tobi takes me a good 30 minutes. This, of course, includes the fact that I have to stop and cough throughout the neb and I actually stop the neb when I cough so as not to waste the medicine. If I could breathe it straight through with no pauses, it'd prbly take about 20 minutes.

Barb - methinks something is not right! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0"> Albuterol and Pulmozyme take us about 6 mins each, using the PARI LC Plus nebs and some generic compressor that we got at diagnosis. TOBI takes about 22 minutes. I hope you can find a neb/compressor situation that fixes this for you because your times seem way too long! <img src="i/expressions/clock.gif" border="0">

More medication does equal longer time. But if it is taking 45 minutes something isn't right. You could need a a new filter for your compressor or a new compressor all together if yours is old. Or you could have a defective cup. It should take about 20-25 minutes.
