how long does it take you to feel better

I am so frustrated with beins sick.
I am on a steriod, cypro and zypox since Feb 13th.
I am still very tired even though I sleep 10 to 12 hours per night. I am still not hungry but still eat.
I just feel week all the time.
don't have fever though which is good.
It seems to me the older I get the longer I recover from an infection.
"I am debating on bugging my doctor on what to do. It's been 10 days and I am not up to par.
Just wondeing if I am feeling like everyone else.

I totally hear you...the older I get, the longer it takes to bounce back (if I actually do all the way). I had a nasty infection at the beginning of december and I'm now finally feeling completely better...ugh!

hang in there, I hope you start feeling better soon.

I hold onto the coughing SO much longer... eekkk... the crappy feeling subsides after a few weeks... it is weird... same with if I drink... Iused to be alright the next day, but now I am done for a day or two... one of glorious things about getting older, but it is better than the other option... lol...

I find that it takes me awhile to feel better too. I always think I'm better than I am, but my FEV1 doesn't lie. It usually takes until about 4 days AFTER I finish a round of abx to feel better. I think it's because of the side effects like weird BMs, sleep changes, etc. that go along with it.
