How many of you get the Pnuemonia shot as well as the flu shot?

I too have never gotten a pneumonia shot. When I asked about it a few years ago, I was told it wouldn't do any good, and at the time the explanation made sense to me. But I can't remember the explanation now! That was a different doctor, so I'll ask my current doctor about it.
