Mucomyst has been one of the greatest additions to my whole regimen. It really brings up allot of garbage.

wow, really? i've only ever done mucomyst when i was in the hospital and really ill. it was prescribed to me by a pulmonologist who didn't know much about CF... mainly a "senior person's pulmonologist" I didn't notice much benefit from it. maybe a slight benefit, but not much.

i'll have to ask my doctor about that next time I go. if it can help, it's always good to have around! and the active pharmaceutical agent, acetylcysteine, can also be used to treat acetaminophen (tylenol) overdoses. interesting compound <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Awesome, give it another go! I wish I had found it sooner, it's been available for a long time and I brought it up on a whim at my doc appointment and we decided to give it a go. So glad I did! It also nebs fairly quickly which is a plus!

I do my vest in the morning and then vest and HTS in the afternoon

When I feel something coming on I add a treatment between the morning and afternoon treatment (usually do another dose of HTS).

I do treatments twice a day. Albuterol and Hyper-sal in the morning with 10 breaths on the a cappella and the same at night except with a dose of Pulmozyme.
