When I was younger I would only really cough when I was sick but it has gotten more freguent over the last couple of years. I cough quite a bit now and it interfers with my daily life. I get alot of stares when I go places that I didn't get when I was younger. I haven't gotten used to the coughing that I do now.

I cough frequently in the morning-afternoon hours, it is always a mucousy-congesty cough, whereas in the evening if I even cough at all, it is a throat-clearing cough. (Definitely preferable:cool<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> But I did notice that fits of laughter bring coughing on, and it is real noticeable someplace quiet like a movie theater, library, etc. I think my cough is like fine wine I that it just got better with age; increased exponentially.

I do not cough a ton. I used to cough a lot more. The difference, I think, is hypertonic saline. I notice that at work, I will start to cough a little around 1 or 2 pm -- about 5 hours after my morning treatment. (At some point, I will probably need to figure out a way to sneak in a lunch-time treatment to keep my lungs happy.) Other than that, I don't feel the urge to cough that much. Yesterday I sat through a 2-hour meeting and coughed maybe once.

I have also noticed that I clear my throat more often when I eat a lot of dairy. So annoying! Especially when I'm interviewing people over the phone. I've been trying to cut back on dairy, which is why I noticed this.

I also do a lot of huffing/throat clearing when I do cardio at the gym.

I cough on a daily basis. Usually after treatment, after my shower (the steam breaks things up) and during/after exercise.

My cough has increased over the past few years. Laughing always brings coughing to a new height. I cough at night (until I get my pillows elevated just right).
