I dont really cough up all that much while doing the vest either. I do however cough up more when i use the flutter . I also find that when i use my peak flow, its good for a sputum appearance or two.
Oh and my last fev1 ( after my embolization 4 weeks ago ) , was 40%.
I can never cough anything up, not even when I excercise or on the vest. I cough and huff to try and move the mucous around but I can never get anything to come up. How do you do autogenic draining?

It is rare that I cough up anything with vest, PEP, nebs, or excercise... Usually the coughing comes later when I'm relaxing or just talking to people... its weird odd times that I cough, but rarely with treatments. My FEV1 is in the low 60's at baseline.

Same here. It's very hard to cough up anything. Because it's so thick. Sometimes I get allot up when I do my Hypertonic Salne but it's waterie because of the Pulozyme.
