When I was getting gas today, a question suddenly popped in my head. Since there are people on this forum from all over the country, all over the world, I wonder what you are paying for gas in the car right now.

Today, in CT, my gas was $2.49/gal for the cheap stuff (87)
That's down from summer, where it was usually $2.89-$3.09

What do you pay right now, on average, for gas. Remember to put where you live!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Right now it is $2.18/gal for Regular Unleaded in northeastern North Carolina. I have heard of it being as low as $1.96/gal in a near by town. It was around $2.95-$2.99/gal last summer.

My husband just got gas today for $2.13 (for the cheaper stuff - 87). We live in Illinois. We were just over $3.00 a gallon over the summer. Wouldn't it be nice if it actually got down to $1.XX per gallon!!

$1.20 AUD/litre here. lowest its been in a LONG time. thats 3.60 USD per gallon!

3.78 litres in a gallon janet.
