how to stay motivated?

thanks so much for all your replies! It really helps to hear how everyone stays motivated. saveferris2009 that's a great idea. I do tend to make lists, but I think I make to many goals and they aren't very realistic. Thanks for sharing. =) I'm already feeling a little more motivated.

Honestly, I find reading these forums pretty motivating. First of all, I see just how hard others are working, and two I am constantly reminded I shouldn't take anything for granted.

Ironically, for me, another great trick towards improving compliance is to forgive slip ups. Ok, so I skipped a couple treatments, that doesn't mean I should just give up and skip another 2 weeks worth. Instead I say, ok, I'll try again. I think it's about gradually improving habits. In some areas of self care, I have finally gotten to the point where it's habit now. I feel very strange if I skip certain things.

I have a slight addiction to video games, so I just keep my equipment next to the computer... that way I can stay entertained for the hour or so for treatments! Works pretty well.

If I have to travel, it's really hard to get motivated though.
