So sorry to hear about this..... I totally relate. My husband Chris went in 2 weeks ago and I have been here ever since. I'm not working full-time right now, so I've literally been with him 24/7 sleeping on a cot in his room. Fun, fun!

I really hope his pain gets under control soon, I know that's the worst for me with Chris' worsening symptoms - his pain.

Oh man, I was just thinking of you the other day and was going to try to see what was u0 with you when I got home. Well, I'm home and what do I find--Gessner is in house! Damn! I'm sorry--please keep us posted....

Thursday night update....

Not much has changed today. Apparently his sputum culture from last night only showed his normal psedemonuas bugs. I think that we are all thinking that there is something new in the mix so they took another sputum culture. So we are waiting to see if they find anything.

They put him on ceftaz and colistin (which he was just on). Also they are giving him a bunch of meds for the pain. He hasn't seen anyone from the CF team yet, so hopefully someone from the team will come around tomorrow.

His spirits seem fine. I am hanging in as well. Today hasn't been the best day, but I am doing alright. Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers!

P.S. Julie, yes he is at the UW.

Not much has changed today. Apparently his sputum culture from last night only showed his normal psedemonuas bugs. I think that we are all thinking that there is something new in the mix so they took another sputum culture. So we are waiting to see if they find anything.

They put him on ceftaz and colistin (which he was just on). Also they are giving him a bunch of meds for the pain. He hasn't seen anyone from the CF team yet, so hopefully someone from the team will come around tomorrow.

His spirits seem fine. I am hanging in as well. Today hasn't been the best day, but I am doing alright. Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers!
