Hyper-sal 7% from Pari

Okay, I'm confused about HTS. I asked my doc for an rx for it after hearing about it on this forum. I just took it to the pharmacy to be filled, but he wrote it for 15 ml vials of 10% and 15 ml vials of 3% and told me to mix them half and half and nebulize for 15 minutes. Is this correct?

Where does the 7% come in? I'm not a math wiz, but does 10% plus 3% somehow make it 7%? Because to me, that would be 13%...

You got it man.

Unless you get it pre-mixed from CF Serivces Pharmacy....

Looks like PARI found a biz opportunity though and will sell the 7% at some point.

But most of us just mix 2mL of 3% and 3mL of 10% (and then I just throw the rest away so I don't risk contamination. it's cheap stuff anyway).

There is a CF pharmacy- not CFServices - in Orlando that has the 7% already mixed - we just ordered it from them. I will try to get the number.
