Hypertonic saline and acne?

I started nebulizing the hypertonic saline about a month ago and since then, I've had horrible acne... considerably worse than normal and very hard to get rid of.

Does this make sense or sound familiar to anyone?

By the way, I'm a 19 year old girl living in Northern California.

Maybe you need to drink a more water.

I have not noticed an increase in breakouts since I started HS, but I know my doc was talking to me about needing to make sure I stay well hydrated with taking the saline nebs.

He said that the saline draws water into your secretions from your bodies water supply. Since I tend to notice I have worse problems with acne when I am not well hydrated I thought that maybe the two were connected.

Again I don't know as I haven't had this problem, but it is just a thought that I figured I would throw out there.
