that's insane....i would go to another pharmacy for my 10% HTS</end quote></div>

I'm not sure that you can go somewhere else for it-I know when I started it I could only get it through them. .</end quote></div>

Ya, you can. you can get it from any pharmacy. CVS, RiteAid, MedCo, Aetna, Caremark, Express Scripts, Wellpoint, Prescription Solutions, Blue Shield.

You name it, you can get it. This falls under the category of how hard you want to try to find it.....

Wow...I didn't realize so many people were getting it in vials! I get my 7% HS in an I.V. bag and I just draw out 5cc's when I do my nebs. No refridgerator, no wasted med, no mixing. I get mine from a pharmacy in FL, and I never have to wait for it.</end quote></div>

Wow! Do you mind telling me what company your pharmacy orders that from? I would love to see if my local pharmacy could get it too (I'm in Alabama). I am planning on checking to see if my local pharmacy can get the 10% for me too for now, since the .9% is supposedly on its way...

It's a generic company called DEY.

"Sodium Chloride Solution for respiratory therapy."

I get both 10% and 3% in seperate viles.... I mix both to come up with 7%. It's extremely cheap....

There is no need to go through CF Services Pharmacy. Their services is horrible and we have enough trouble with meds in our CF lives, we don't need another headache from them....

I think if you go to a pharmacy and say "I want hypertonic saline" they just kind of look at you.

If you say "I want Sodium Chloride Solution 10%" or "I want Sodium Chloride 3%" they'll know exactly what you're talking about <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
