None of the above. I use 10%, and have posted on this topic before. I found myself getting used to 7%, and not being as productive. I emailed the principle investigator of the UNC study, and asked how and why 7% was chosen, and if it was reasonable to move up to 10%. Bottom line, 7% was a compromise of what was effective and what was tolerated, but for those who can tolerate it, the higher concentration does work better.

I've never had bleeding problems with HTS or Pulmozyme. I use 3%. I have tried 7% and 6%, both were too harsh for me. As it is, when I use the 3% HTS in the eFlow, it's more concentrated anyway, so it's pretty harsh, despite being only 3%. I think if I tried 6% or 7% in the eFlow I'd find it near impossible.

As for when I do it... I do it by itself in the morning. In the evening I do Pulmozyme and HTS or Colistin (depending on the month - Colistin is an inhaled antibiotic). Pulmozyme always goes first for me. And therapy is always last. I don't do the Vest, so I don't do nebs and therapy simultaneously. I have to lie on my stomach for beating time, so I get the nebs done first.

My daughter mixes her own. She has both 3% & 10% vials and mixes it between 3% & 7% depending on how she feels.
