My battle was trying to get the Therapy vest paid for. That was a big bill and we didn't think it made any sense since we were saving the insurance company money by using it. We had to prove it. So we took it all the way to the board. I actually had to go to BCBS of Boston, climb several flights of stairs and sit in front of a board of people who sat and asked us quesions, one of which , was " how many stairs can you climb " I was flabbergasted, I just looked at him , who was a doctor on the board, and said, " on a good day or a bad day sir?" Well by the end of the hour and a half we had exhausted all our proof. We went home feeling pretty good about it. We got a call as soon as we got home that they would pay for the Vest. Thank God. Finally. It took us 4 years to get this done.
