if you use a pharmacy that ships

We use CF Services pharmacy, evry couple of months we get pulmozyme in a styrofoam cooler. At first I sved them in case I ever needed them, but now I have way too many. It seems like such a waste to throw them out. Its too bad we can't send them back so they can re-use them, but of course that's a no-no.

We have that same problem. I have posted them on freecycle.org and actually had someone who needed those coolers pick them up the same day. I have used them for our lemonade stand as a cooler for ice when we sold lemonade for CF. I have given them to my daughter's nursery school for juice boxes when they play outside. I have one in my living room not sure what to do with. it is such a waste...Can ya tell in college i was the recycling coordinator for our dorm?<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

Our insurance company won't let us get more than one month of pulmozyme at a time, so we have one for every month -- it adds up quickly. We also have a ton of those refreezable chemical cold packs that come in them. I save a bunch and then use them for trips to keep meds cold -- but still I have way too many.

I like Rebecca's ideas. I may have to try that out!!!

Ugh! I have the same problem! I love the idea of recycling them. I wonder if homeless shelters could use them??? Just a thought.
