UPDATE:

Well I am here. I woke up with NO voice so its been interesting LOL!

Admissions changed their procedure again so things were a bit chaotic & I send Robert & Jazz home before getting to my room because I knew it would be hours & it was.

They are starting a pherephreal iv & have a picc scheduled for tomorrow.

I am on continuous fluids as usual & they will do TPN as I have lost weight, but refuse to say as Jada will shoot me. Merem & TObra are the 2 meds we are starting with & Cefepeme (sp?) will be the 3rd if we need it added to the cocktail.

I still waiting on labs & xrays, but otherwise I am settled. I am currently in a room with internet access so I had them hurry & get me a laptop.

I didnt bother bring any since it ends up going home anyway.

My favorite nurses are on today so that makes it better even with all the paperwork & questions.

Its really really difficult to talk to me on the phone with my voice being gone, but after a few days hopefully something will click.
