In addition to the gestational diabetes suggestion, another thing to consider is that the amniotic fluid takes a ton of water. Not only that, but you have to filter out the old fluid and replace it with a fresh supply, hence the need for a lot of water. If it is gestational diabetes (GD), you should definitely talk to the doctor because they will need to get you on a restricted diet and possibly make plans for an alternate delivery as opposed to the natural method. The good news is, GD usually goes away after you give birth<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
