Improved Coughing Technique

i know the technique is supposed to be tricky. but i am glad that i am not the only one who has had trouble with it. i will do as amy suggested and keep trying and hope that something will click...

This worked for me really well a couple weeks ago but I had a cold. I not tried it much since I've been on antibiotics. Mainly because my chest is tight my cough is almost dry. When I was doing it, it worked awesome. The best technique I've ever tried. I'll try it again once my chest isn't so tight and I'm not short of breath. I don't think it works if your real short of breath.

I don't have CF, but my 3-year-old does and I've been trying to do this since Amy first posted it. The first few times, I could feel some movement, crackling sort of near the bottom part of my lungs, since then nothing. Of course, I most likely don't have anything down there to make me cough. My husband thinks I'm a weirdo when I try to do it. I figure the least I can do, is when he's older, I'll be able to explain it to ds. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
