You might want to get a protective sleeve to make showering easier. My local pharmacy has them on the non-Rx shelves - they look like a long plastic bag with tight elastic or velcro on both ends. We've used saran wrap for my son before we found these.

We bought a small rubbermaid storage cart on wheels to keep supplies handy.
My kids use a cut off sox cuff to cover their PICCs. It keeps it covered and snug.
Ask for the eclipse but be prepared- we were not able to get the eclipse balls because of the high dose of the tobra.

Good luck!
i have always gotten my tobra in eclipse balls. i know some people do an every 24 hr dose and others do an every 12 hr dose. i have always done the every 12 and never had issues getting the eclipse so maybe the every 24 hr dose can't be done in the eclipse b/c it's just too much medicine to put in there? just a guess....
i also have a small fridge that we either set up temporarily in my room or in another room to store all the meds in which keeps the main family kitchen fridge clear of clutter and keeps the meds from getting any kind of food on them....

We're not sure if he'll be on Tobra. He has Achromobacter (Alcaligenes) and they mentioned some other meds...I can't remember now what they called the antibiotic.
He's only had one hospitalization so we're not very familiar with the names of everything. We're learning though!
Thanks again for the great info! We appreciate it!!
