In the hospital again

I just thought I would update you all on whats going on with me.

As I type this I am in the hospital with electrodes taped to my head.
I had four seizures yesterday with the third one landing me in the ER. I was taken by ambulance to the ER because the ativan was not helping me come out of the third seizure.

The fourth one happened in the ER and was helped with a high dose of Ativan IV push.

I have cameras in my hospital room to film me 24/7 so the neurologist can see what the seizures look like when I have them. She has taken me off the Keppra (antiseizure med) so I will have a seizure that she can see. The electrodes on my head will tell her what part of the brain the seizures are coming from.

But just like taking your car to a mechanic only for the car not to act up, I have not had a seizure that I know of yet.

I will be having an MRI of the brain prob tomorrow. Please keep me in your thoughts!!!

So sorry to hear of your suffering. What does a seizure feel like? Do you have any residual effects to your abilities after it passes? I'll keep you in my prayers.

Khristina, I was reading everything in your signature and you sure have been through a lot and have a lot to deal with. I feel funny saying I hope you have another seizure soon, but it would definitely be good to have one when you're all hooked up and the doctor can learn what is going on.
