In the hospital again

GFDI!!! LOL

Today was the first time I have been out of my room since I have been here. So me getting up and going down there was tough to do. It could be very well contributed to that. My sats are constantly being monitored 24/7 right now along with my heart. So if I desat I think they would know but I will ask whats it been like lately.

Did they monitor your sats when you left your room for MRI? That's the time I'm curious about. Sitting there you may be fine, but what about during activity?

The sat amchine is connect to the heart monitor. The heart monitor couldn't be worn while I was in the MRI because the pads have little metal buttons. So they took it all of before I went down there. So you are right, I wasn't montitored at that time. But I was being monitored during the neuro exam that I faied earlier. The Dr had me stand up and walk a few steps so I will ask about my sats during that time.
The hard part is that I desat during seizures too, so it will be hard to differentiate (sp?) between the two.

I hope you get better soon and can go home. I know it's really disappointing to think you're going and then they keep you longer! Maybe the increased meds will work soon and you can be home feeling more comfortable.
