Julie, I hope you're feeling better by now, and don't have much of a stay in the hospital! I'm glad you listened to your body, and got the virus before it got you! Take care. <img src="i/expressions/rose.gif" border="0">
I am feeling better today. I still have some wheezing and I am still coughing up yellow to green sputum but the pain in my lung is gone now.
I am hoping to try to go home by Tuesday. If I go home my dr. will send me home on IV antibiotics. He usually just keeps me in a few days to get things started and to see how I am going to respond then let's me finish things up at home.
Again, thank you for your prayers. I will update again tomorrow or Tuesday.

I too hope you get home soon Julie, there is no place like home! I too had the red man's syndrome even with slow infusion. I turned blue red all over the place! The itching was terrible, so I really feel for you! They gave me Benedryl and Solumedrol as well, made a difference with that itching! Good luck once you are home and continue to get better! The dr. did tell me today that the staph has changed and is now methicillin resistant. Other than that, everything is well.
