Call up Respirtech and ask them why they're out of Network with your provider.

They should do a better job with managed care to get on your Preferred Provider list.

Maybe you can try approaching this from that angle instead <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Well you could try calling them. They can most likely help. I had mine shipped already and insur comp denied it. They called me and let me know almost a week before the insur did. They ended up telling me we could keep it and to call them when ever I needed anything. I fought the insur dis got two more denials. But my son did his 1st pft's and got 79% dr's wrote a new script and insur ended up paying. I had already gotten new filters a couple times and a bigger vest. Respitech called me one day and told me they had got approval from insur and they were shipping my other sons machine it would be there the next day. It had been 8mo. One of them stopped showing the right amount of time used and I mentioned it on on of their check-up calls and they sent me a new one and paid for the return postage. Now thats customer service!

Call up Respirtech and ask them why they're out of Network with your provider.

They should do a better job with managed care to get on your Preferred Provider list.

Maybe you can try approaching this from that angle instead <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"></end quote></div>

Thanks for the suggestion. They did say they would try to get an "out of network" exception with my ins co, but they won't know anything until they submit the request in writing. I hope the insurance company grants the exception!!

well being "in network" means that the company would give certain discounts to the insurance provider.

that's totaly in Respirtech's hands in terms of negotiations. so i bet they'll be able to work something out.
