Could you have a meconium equivilent? Stool bogged down in the colon, yet some still able to "get thru the cracks", pardon the pun

Or had you just gotten a new batch of enzymes? Do they look okay? I know there was a brand a few years ago people were having issues with. They emptied the capsules and the beads were funky looking. Also, someone once got generics that looked similar to their regular name brand ones.

I do eat alot of chicken, not so much beef or pork- forgot to add that above. I am a huge fan of the fishies! Maybe changing a few things will help...
Fred, I bet your digestive system got quite a shock here in the US!! I do try to stay away from fast food as that is inevitable punishment on my gut if I eat the stuff. No amount of enzymes seem to help if I indulge in a BigMac, fries and a shake!! When my family goes to McD's (it's the only fast food in my town), I go for salads, yogurt, water, juice...stuff that doesn't usually cause an "eat now pay later" syndrome.

I try to make my own food at home, I love asian food particularly. I make my own stirfries, fried rice and other foods that way I know what is in it! I have gotten pretty handy with my wok. But, there are times when I can't avoid eating out either because I am on the run or just don't feel like cooking! My family also likes to have picnics and celebrations(I have a really big family)...there is no shortage of food there of all types. I admit that I overindulge

Liza, I have sometimes wondered about that...if I have a partial blockage there. I take stuff daily to keep myself cleaned out, but sometimes it doesn't work and I have to use something stronger. I have had alot of problems with either diarrhea or constipation, it is difficult for me to regulate things. It is one or the other....very frustrating!!!

As far as the enzymes...no, this isn't a new batch but I am glad you brought that up as a possiblitly. I forgot about the enzyme issues that were posted awhile back. I will keep my eyes open in the future..
Again, thanks for all of the good advice...still waiting on the doc to see what she may think about this. Hugs, Jenn
