Infections in one spot?

hey all!

I wheeze ALL THE TIME. Even more now that it's warm and disgusting outside. Lately, I've been wheezing in one particular spot worse than usual. It's on the right side, same spot every time. When I do treatments and try to bring up the stuff I feel in that spot, it's green and tastes like there's something brewing. I know that what I'm coughing up is from that spot because I can feel it come up at times (or at least partially come up). My question is, is it possible to have a lung infection in one localized area (and then have it spread), or are lung infections generally all over, in both lungs once they show their ugly selves?

thanks!

Idk honestly, I soppose it has to start somewhere, the bacteria aren't going to have a convention and set a date for all of them to flair up at once (though it has seemed that way in the past lol) so I guess it has to start in a localized area then spread. I would call the doc and get something to nip this before it does become a bigger problem.
