I mix my own as well. 150 mg mixed with 3 cc sterile water, twice a day, 28 days on, 28 days off. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

5cc of water seems like a lot. Why did they change your dose? Makes you wonder why doses would be so different unless they are based on weight. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0">

I don't mean to sound dumb, but what is Colistin? I have heard of it, but I don't know what it is used for. Is it just another type of antibiotic via nebulizer? My doctor has never mentioned it. I did hear too that a lot of insurance companies will not cover it?
