inhaled drugs and first few days

Hi Guys-
I just have a quick question. With inhaled antibiotics, do you first have afew days of junkiness and feeling worse or am I having a side effect? My chest is hurting and I am coughing more...with more mucus...on my second full day of inhaled antibiotics...bringing up really gross stuff, but I am out of breath and my pulse ox has dropped from 98% to 95%.
Any ideas?

I defnitely have a 1st few days of junkiness with TOBI. It seems like I'm getting up more sputum and then it tapers off. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

the thing that helps me a lot with Tobi side effects is making sure i am really cleared out before doing it. shortness of breathe is definitly an unpleasant side effect i've heard of with Tobi.

Well Ive always thought that the coughing and bringing up realli nasty stuff was becuase the anti bioctic was doing its job and getting the realli infected crap out of my lungs... but thats just me I could be wrong!!

Max tends to get a sticky boogery nose. He usually doesn't cough up much of anything, but has had sinus issues in the past. During Tobi time, especially at the start, he's digging for gold constantly. Bleah!
