I would suggested a broken or dislocated rib too. I broke a rib 8 years ago from coughing-- VERY PAINFUL. Hope you get it figured out soon-- that kinda pain is no fun!!

Wow it seem like whatever it is it is very painful . Even to fix LOL!
I have had the costochondritis (SP?) about 10+ years ago. Man was it painful. I thought something was going on with my heart or my asthma. I was really scared. They told me it was that and it has something to do with your breastbone area they told me.
So I would think yours is more along the lines of the ribs. So maybe a dislocated rib or fracture. I dont know I'm not a doc. But please get it checked out. You don't need to be in pain like that.
