Insomnia...

I exercise everyday and that helps me to sleep. Trampoline jumping or bouncing on the trampoline each day helps with sleep (that is what I read). Avoiding sugary foods after four p.m and do not exercise before bedtime. Maybe the horizontal bop is ok lol

If I awake in the middle of the night and cannot go back to sleep, I eat a granola bar and that helps me a lot. I am sleeping within a few minutes after that.

I use some energy medicine techniques that always works for me. Calming triple warmer meridians. works like a charm. yoga is great and if you can do some stretching before bed this will relax your entire body.

I know that some people who cannot sleep find it better when they write down what is bothering them and they put it away and have an easier time sleeping.

Okay, this was totally not what I expected. Talked to my doc today, and he didn't give me a sleep aid---he gave me a blood test instead. Thinks it could be my thyroid causing it! He got suspicious when my heartrate was a little elevated (in the 120-130's). I always thought it got that way because of the albuterol, but combined with the fatigue, night sweats, and insomnia, he thinks it could be my thyroid going bad<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"> My dad had an issue with his thyroid some time ago and had to have it removed via radiation. I might have to have the same thing done...

Great. Just another body part going bad...
