Insomnia?

Hi,

It is 3 in the morning and like usual, I am still awake. i find i can never fall asleep and it is beginnig to drive me a little bit craZy!! I feel tired but my body just won't shut down. It's weird though because a few months ago all I did was sleep. I was in bed about 16 hours a day and I am not even exagerating. Any ideas about what this may be caused by? It most likely isn't CF related, although I do cough alot and wake up very short of breath and (sorry to be gross) but kinda choking on mucus... and by coughing and doing some 'fluttering' i find myself wide awake, which stinks because I find it so hard to get some zzz's in the first place. I hope this makes sense...haha I know I am wide awake but at this hour I don't always make sense!

Hey there. I find that what helps me when I can't sleep is to press gently on my eyes untill I see those wonderous patterns. this actually releases natural sleepy chemicals to your body, and makes you want to sleep. Works for me anyway <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

good luck, and I hope you rest well soon.
