Hi..I am needing information on insurance for children with CF. I have a son(Massey 11) and daughter (Gracie 2) that have been on a government provided insurance for their intire life. My husband has received a promotion and I am sure that we are going to be over the limit. I have checked with insurance through his company, but is $600 a month and it is only 80/20, not to mention that most of the prescriptions are not covered by their prescription plan. They even have a clause saying that if your family can get insurance some where else, that is what they reccomend. They don't want to pay for anything!! I have also checked on the High Risk insurance and that is outragious.
if I do not here anything from their government program by the first of the year they will be with out insurance and then what do I do? I am really scared!!

what state r u in? alot of states have supplemental policies that pick up what insurance does not pay, I think they have this in California , Florida and in Ohio I believe it is called BCMH, Bureau of CHildren with Medical Handicaps. We do not have it, but from what I've been told the income guidelines are high.
