Laura-since only the synopsis was available I cant tell you everything but what they are saying is that they believe they have proved though the experiment that the CFRD which is the channel always talked about is actually the culprit in conjunction with another channel epithelial sodium channel.

Could totally be my BS thoughts but I wonder if they looked into these two channels because most mutation info etc etc is all based on CFRD eval and as we all know different mutations can have drastically different effects on a people, maybe this additional channel is one reason why. Agian didnt get read article thta is just me hypothesizing.

I would be very interested to read rest article if anyone has it.
