Is arnica safe while breastfeeding?

I am starting to get sore muscles from exercising and usually I use arnica gel. Is anyone else using the topical gel or taking it orally? Info online is conflicting about safety while pregnant/breastfeeding. For those of you not familiar, arnica helps heal bruising and soft tissue injury. I prefer it to products like Ben Gay or Tiger Balm.

Homeopathic remedies are totally safe to take while pregnant and breastfeeding. I have taken arnica countless times since I've been pregnant w/ Logan and have also given it to him many times. I wouldn't worry about using the gel or taking orally. My mom is basically a lay homeopath and I've seen my homeopathic doctor (he's also a MD) since I was about 7. (of course I also go to a CF center and have regular doctors).
