Hello, Sandy. I don't know of anything that could be of help (I am sort of going through the same thing myself), but maybe if we wrote letters to the government? Nice, polite letters, of course; yelling threats does not get anybody anywahere. If you know any addresses we could write to... Let whoever's in charge realize exactly what Cystic Fibrosis is and the harm they might be causing by eliminating the program. Well, you never know, it just might help! If you do know of any addresses and if there is even a small chance writing could help, please post them or e-mail them to me [E=]jarodbulthuis@hotmail.com[/E]. I have been searching myself, I found the Abilities website, but couldn't get any further than that. Whatever happens, I really hope everything works out for you.Jarod22 with CF

Hi, I am also on medicaid for my medication and some supplies. If you have a local welfare offfice you may want to get an appointment to apply for medicaid. Or you could ask at your cf clinic if they have any ideas. I get some of my supplies from my nurse at my cf clinic sometimes like, nebulizer cups, or samples of adeks, things like that. Sometimes if you write to the companys of the medications you need ,they will send you some( free) if you really need it. I know its not much but, i hope this helps a little. ~Diane 39 cf / diabetes / b.cepacia
