Hi...female w CF and CFRD. 38 yrs old. For about a week or so now every morning when I wake up my hands are soooooooo itchy, this lasts for about an hourish. I'm not on anything for my CFRD nor do I take anything for my CF, ezcept for the enzymes. Does anyone else have this and if so what is it and how do I get rid of it.

Mine get itchy sometimes, too, including my feet. I notice that it's typically only during the winter, so it's probably due to the fact that your skin is dry. I don't think it's anything to worry about--moisturize!!

Do you sleep on your hands?? or with your arms above your head?? It almost sounds like it is a lack of circulation issue. Have you tried Gold Bond lotion or Gewahl they have some good itch fighters?

It could be an allergy to food or it can be yeast. when I ate wheat crackers every single day, I started to itch every where.

I hope it goes away. Try a tea tree oil creme. if there is yeast it will kill the yeast. Who knows what you have but we can try and help you figure it out<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Get a kidney function test too. Itchies can be a sign of kidney failure and with the CFRD you need to get it checked out. Short of that, have you started using anything new? Lotion? Laundry detergent? Soap? If so, go back to the old stuff.
